Dolce Pan Bakery in Huntsville

This is hands down the best Cuban sandwich I've had since Miami, and trust me, I've had a lot of them. The chicken noodle soup is possibly the best I've ever had. Not only was there good food, but the people were very friendly, too. This place is definitely worth your visit. Not only do they make wonderful food, but they bake bread, pastries, and make coffee too. Support this new local venue! It's in the Metro PC shopping center on Governor's Drive. Sorry for the lack of food picture's, I was starving. Next time, though, next time...

Great food but don't go if you can't spare at least 15 minutes wait time

I moved to Huntsville from Tampa, Florida and one of my concerns was that I wouldn’t be able to find a Cuban quite like those from my hometown. I looked up where I could get a Cuban sandwich nearby and found this one only 7 minutes from my house, so decided to give it a try. This is hands down one of the best Cuban sandwiches I’ve ever had in my life! Which is surprising, considering I came from the original home of the Cuban sandwich. Would definitely recommend this place to absolutely everyone!!

They have an amazing Cubano and the empanadas are great

This is the best little hidden spot in town. I'm from Indialantic Florida & used to live right next to a restaurant called the Cuban Island. This is the closest thing to home for me. Every time I visit I try something new on the menu and have never been disappointed love this place and will continue going.

I ordered the mofongo with pork. It was amazing, but it was more than I could finish for lunch. Same for the cubano (sandwich), both delicious and large. The kids got croquettes and an empanada (pizza flavored) and ate them up. It was very reasonably priced for a family.

Oh my goodness. It’s literally the only good Hispanic food you’ll find in Huntsville. Their prices are great. The food is even better and the service is really attentive. I love coming here for the desserts. If you come try their tresleches..

We found this treasure on Yelp. We traveledto Huntsville to go to the space center, and then it was time for dinner. We used Yelp to find something rated highly rated that was) also inexpensive. $ This family did it right. Quality, portion, service, and hospitality made this experience outstanding!

This place is a gem. There food and coffee is excellent. I had the cubano and chicken pesto empanada. Staff is awesome and the experience was awesome. Will definitely be back several times.

Everything was AWESOME. Being that I lived in West Palm Beach, FL where there are a lot of authentic Cuban, Puerto Rican, Mexican, etc. restaurants, admittedly, I set the bar high for this place and they delivered. The food was amazing and the fruit juices were amazing real fruit juices. I'm glad I found this place 😊. I will come back.

Dolce Pan Bakery is an absolute gem that's more than just a bakery that's well known to locals. They serve up amazing sandwiches especially the Cuban (a favorite of mine) along with several daily specials. They also offer great brewed coffee as well. This restaurant is fantastic, and I can't recommend it enough.

Everything is so good. I'm from Puerto Rico and it makes me feel like home.

My husband and I really enjoyed our lunch at Dolce. We ordered the Cubano, the Triplet and a side of Sweet Plantains. The food was really good and fulfilling!! The vanilla flan and frappas (not pictured) we had afterwards were the icing on top!! I've eaten enough to last me a couple days lol! I'll definitely be back for more.

Amazingly authentic food. My husband is from Puerto Rico and it really is a taste of home. We had lunch and pastries.

Just finished another great meal!! We had mofungo and finished lunch off with an amazing cream cheese flan and a delicious rice pudding! Wonderful! Never disappointed’

They have really good authentic Cuban food. I had the cubano it was amazing and huge. I was able to get 2 meals out of it.

I'm sorry to say it's been too long since I visited Via Emilia's. Today's Sunday Brunch reminded me why I need to come back sooner rather than later. The cozy atmosphere and the nice big single-pane window view of the Koi pond started the morning right. Had a Bloody Mary...on point. Some fresh oven bread dipped in herb-infused olive oil made it better.

I've come to this restaurant about four times and each time I've been so satisfied with the taste of the food the customer service it's prices. When you come in you're automatically greeted and welcomed. On the left is a list of specials they have available for the day along with other items and their prices. The place is very clean and although it's small it doesn't feel cluttered or crowded. There are tables to sit and it feels really relaxed.

Delicious! On a Monday, I tried the $6 lunch special that included a drink and the Cubano sandwich, which came highly recommended. Also tried a chicken empanada and the tres leches cake. All delicious as previous reviewers have mentioned. Can't wait till next time I'm back in town!

Staff was friendly, prices were appropriate ($6-$8 for a lunch item). The housemade mango juice was great! The lunch special, grilled chicken, beans and rice with sweet potato and plantain was delicious.On top of the great service, food and prices, the décor was excellent! I'll definitely be back to try the bakery items for dessert as well as the sandwiches!

This is my favorite place to get food in Huntsville. They have awesome specials. The food is homemade and fresh. The people make you feel super welcome. They are so much more than a" bakery." They have desserts, full coffee bar, fried pastries, sandwiches and real authentic Puerto Rican dishes. Mofongo, rice and beans, pork, pulpo etc. It's an amazing hole in the wall and everyone needs to know about it.

If you are a latino you will appreciate this little place. If you are not latino and want to try something a little different at a very reasonable price give this place a try. I order the cuban sandwich and didn't disappoint. Their specialty seems to be coffee which I don't drink so if you like coffee you might try it but I have no opinion about it.

Very good! Staff was friendly and a good number of options were available! Had the Cuban sandwich which was quite large! Also make sure to read the "secret" menu items, that's how I saw the crab empanada which I ordered as well. Will definitely be coming back, apparently they do mofongo Wednesday and Saturday

Oh, what a great find! We are just in town for a few days and found this place on Google. Great service from Erica. Tables enough for customers. Adequate shared parking. A number if coffee options. My included foto gives additional info. Give it a try . . . and you'll likely be a repeat customer.

My husband and I tried this restaurant for the 1st time it was a great experience the food was delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant we had mofongo fried pork potato ball and the Cuban sandwich oh and the chicken empanadas. If you are looking for something different you must try Dolce Pan Bakery
